I'm probably gonna see it a 3rd time! :)tomhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04112812003674804576noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11712050.post-1151979535289383152006-07-03T21:18:00.000-05:002006-07-03T21:18:00.000-05:00Ray, how could you! How could you trash the man o...Ray, how could you! How could you trash the man of steel. lol

We kinda felt the same way. Script sucked. Full of logic holes. Darn it.

I was SO thinking the same thing about the Kryptonite... like wait... he was powerless to fight the goons cuz of the Krytonite, but powered by the sun, he returns, and picks up the whole island????

And if the kid was Superman's but Lois lost her memory, shouldn't she have been freakin out when he tossed the piano, running around screaming, "I boinked Superman!!" It's not like she should have been so blase about it.

Yet we enjoyed watching the movie!! lol We had a good time.
We enjoyed the super parts, the eye candy, and Spacey a lot.

Seeing it in IMAX 3D was kinda lame and distracting though. Great to see it on a huge screen, but 3D, not so much.
Good review. I agree. And yet we still enjoyed the movie. Maybe it was the nostalgia (it def. wasn't the cute guy in the stretchy suit, honest).

~SShephardhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07318615370914088651noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11712050.post-1151778458548811462006-07-01T13:27:00.000-05:002006-07-01T13:27:00.000-05:00Dude..that has to be one of funniest movie reviews...Dude..that has to be one of funniest movie reviews I've read...and oh so true. Yawn is right.

Sorry I wasn't able to go see it with you guys on Wednesday, but I was able to catch it Friday night with the wife. She didn't like it either...although she was intrigued by the timetable of the superboy offspring. Has that nice "Days of Our Lives" feel to it doesn't it? :)

Talk to you later man.

-BAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11712050.post-1151718629652534622006-06-30T20:50:00.000-05:002006-06-30T20:50:00.000-05:00You know something chase, I felt the same way you ...You know something chase, I felt the same way you do about this film. I would add that pretty much after the sweet saving of the shuttle and airplane the movie just slowly worked its way down from there. That scene was so awesome and I was so jazzed after the the first quarter of the movie. Too bad. I like the idea of Superman having a son and I like the idea of tying Sups father into the whole thing, but they just excecuted wrong. The piano was a tad bit much. With that said, when they do Superman 2 or "returns again" I hope they put a ton more action into it.

Sorry to hijack your blog. See ya next Saturday!

-BarryAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
